Fundraising Executive (Legacy)

You will join us as a Legacy Fundraiser to implement and develop Shooting Star Children’s Hospice’s Legacy fundraising programme and manage all legacy administration in order to maximise income from gifts in wills.

Fundraising Executive (Legacy) Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for raising awareness of gifts in wills to Shooting Star Children’s Hospice’s supporters and other audiences in order to inspire people to give in this way and for providing an excellent service to future donors and executors. A key focus will be sharing best practice and ensuring all teams and volunteers are well informed and able to contribute to raising funds from legacies.

Fundraising Executive (Legacy) Requirements:

- Experience of legacy administration, fundraising and marketing.

- Experience of providing financial reports

- Experience of using data to forecast and target effectively.

- Related degree or Fundraising qualification (Desirable)

The post will be based at Weybridge Business Park but will also need to travel to our hospices and the local area as required for the role.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospice charity supports over 700 children, and their families, throughout Surrey and across 15 boroughs of London, 365 days a year. We are a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Job type: Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract, 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £29,000 to £36,460 per annum
