Our patients, their families, our staff, volunteers and supporters are at the heart of our charity.

Legacy fundraising is a hugely valuable source of income for St Margaret’s Hospice, raising in the region of £2M each year, which helps the charity to continue providing care across Somerset. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team that looks after this income stream, as we look for an experienced legacy officer to provide maternity cover.

Reporting to the Grants & Major Gifts Manager, you will oversee a busy and varied workload, covering legacy administration and marketing campaigns, through to helping deliver events and new initiatives to engage our portfolio of high value supporters. You will ensure that our supporters receive tailored communications and are fully supported in their journey with the hospice, which focuses on life-time value.

Everyday St Margaret’s Hospice Care helps patients, families and carers across Somerset who are facing a life-limiting illness. This care and support is provided in the community, in patients own homes, as outpatients and day patients at our Taunton and Yeovil hospice hubs and in our In-patient Unit.
