Can you help St Mungo's develop and deliver our new donor acquisition strategy?

We are looking for a Fundraising Acquisition Manager to join the Individual Giving team at St Mungo’s. In this role you will be overseeing the Acquisition team who manage and deliver our fundraising communications plan to recruit new donors for St Mungo's, supporting our overall aims to end rough sleeping and homelessness for good.   

You will join a motivated and passionate fundraising team. With your help, we will be able to recruit donors for the Supporter Involvement team to develop into long term donors. In turn, this will help provide the income we need to expand the support St Mungo’s can provided to people experiencing homelessness.   

Your role will help support the leadership team in delivering a programme to increase our donor base and showcase the amazing work St Mungo's does and how someone’s first gift can change a life. In this role you will:

  • Have overall responsibility project management of the programme, working with the Acquisition team to focus on increasing response rate, recruiting consented new donors and decreasing cost per new donor. 
  • Ensure high quality work is delivered on time by the team, while providing support to produce excellent donor recruitment appeals.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Head of Individual Giving (Acquisition), testing and delivering fundraising appeals and campaigns and providing regular reporting.
  • Have opportunities to work with colleagues across the wider fundraising team on other key projects as they develop.

About you 

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a fast-paced fundraising, marketing or communications environment. We encourage you to apply if you are a creative individual with excellent communication skills and can demonstrate your ability to work within this environment and manage a small team to deliver excellent fundraising appeals.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
