Community Fundraiser
Location: Bosham
Salary: £25,382 per annum pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week (4 days)
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a Community Fundraiser to join our dynamic fundraising team! Become part of a team that is energetic, resourceful and committed to raising vital income to support free hospice care.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice has an established community of supporters from Emsworth to Arundel, and Bosham up to Midhurst in West Sussex. Many of those supporters want to raise money as part of their desire to ensure hospice care is available locally.

The Community Fundraiser will lead the strategy to reach, inspire and grow this fundraising across our area in West Sussex. We are looking for an organised, experienced fundraiser who can build on what we have established. Importantly we are seeking a fundraiser who will lead St Wilfrid’s Hospice’s community into a strong, sustainable future.

This is a public facing role for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and will support a large network of individuals, and organised groups, including local businesses.

This role will be managed by the Events & Community Fundraising Manager, and will be supported to lead and deliver the Community Fundraising strategy.

As part of our committed team, the working atmosphere is friendly, inspiring and supportive.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes holiday entitlement starting at 27 days per year, increasing to 33 days, plus bank holidays (pro rata).  Continuation of NHS reckonable service, or the NHS Superannuation Scheme may also be recognised.  A generous contributory pension scheme, life assurance, discounted gym membership plus a contributory cash reimbursement plan for you and family members is also available.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting an environment that is inclusive and free from all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination.  We recognise and encourage the valuable contribution that people from all backgrounds and experiences bring.
