Legacy Officer

Tearfund is looking for a Legacy Officer (maternity cover) to maintain our legacy database and manage a dedicated caseload. 

The Legacy Team promotes gifts in wills among Tearfund supporters; works with executors where Tearfund is named as a beneficiary in an estate; and develops positive relationships with all those we come into contact with.

You will have proven experience in Legacy administration and will manage your own caseload of pecuniary and residuary legacy files, ensuring that Tearfund receives its full entitlement in a timely manner, whilst protecting our reputation. 

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Can demonstrate good knowledge of the law relating to estates and probate in the UK 
• Is organised and methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
• Has excellent customer service skills, including the ability to build relationships.

This is a part time role, 17.5 hours a week.
