Philanthropy Manager

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and skilled senior fundraiser. This new position has particular responsibility for securing and cultivating major donor relationships, growing our existing individual giving programme, and helping to deliver our overall ‪fundraising strategy. It is an exciting and crucial time in the charity’s development and this specialist role will offer a chance to really make your mark.

With responsibility for both strategy and delivery, you will be a highly motivated, determined and experienced fundraiser who relishes the opportunity to develop this exciting new income area for the charity. The ideal candidate will have experience of major donor fundraising and individual giving schemes.

You will shape and develop a major donor and individual giving fundraising strategy, considering and collaborating with the staff team to deliver strategy and communications that are complementary to the overall supporter journey.

You will be passionate about our work, and be an articulate, persuasive and tenacious professional with an exceptional ability to forge relationships with donors. You will have up to date knowledge of charity legislation and a proven track record of setting and achieving fundraising targets.
