Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time - 35 hours a week

Location: London (Prince’s Trust House)

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity whose mission is to help young people transform their lives by developing the confidence and skills, to live, learn and earn. This year we will support more than 70,000 young people through a range of proven programmes, with three in four achieving a positive outcome.

In this exciting and varied role, your responsibilities will be split between driving and co-ordinating the team’s charity of the year pipeline (all sectors) and developing strategic partnerships across diverse sectors including Technology, Creative Industries and Financial Services. You will be focusing on securing income from all available streams, including donations, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and employee fundraising.

You will have an income target of £250k+ and support a wider Business Development team target of circa £3m. You will develop pitches and proposals working alongside the Head of Business Development. Together, you will harness the skills and networks of Prince's Trust Senior Volunteer Groups and other key stakeholders alongside targeted prospecting techniques to meet your objectives.

Excellent relationship management skills will be second nature to you, with the ability to relate to people at all levels within potential corporate partners as well as within The Prince's Trust.  You will be organised and a strong project manager, confident in solving problems and securing financial targets, and take a creative approach where needed.

With a proven track record of securing charity partnerships you will have a good understanding of both the corporate responsibility agenda and the needs of business.
