This is an exciting time to join our creative and dynamic Partnerships & Fundraising team as an experienced, organised, energetic and highly competent Events Manager. 

This is a busy role for a talented individual who has experience of successfully delivering a portfolio of events, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and is passionate about supporting young people. We are looking for someone who is proactive and uses their initiative to find creative ways to deliver an excellent supporter experience whilst achieving or exceeding fundraising targets.

About the role

We are looking for an organised, adaptable and highly competent Events Manager with experience of managing multiple fundraising, stewardship and engagement events.  You will be a key member of the Partnerships & Fundraising Team working across UK Youth’s event portfolio with a particular focus on our special events including Art for Youth London, Art for Youth North, the annual Gala Dinner and growing our stewardship and engagement events calendar. 

Our events are attended by a range of our individual supporters and corporates partners including well-known brands such as Oliver Bonas, Microsoft, UPS, Coca Cola European Partners, and PwC to name a few.

You will work closely with volunteer committees to ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of events throughout the year. You will be target driven and be a skilled and personable manager; excel at developing internal and external networks and feel confident in communicating to a variety of audiences.

You will be creative, proactive and have initiative and ideas. You will be organised, driven, reliable and have a positive approach to your work.  You will be able to work at a high level both within UK Youth and with our charity and corporate partners, have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to work occasional evenings and weekend as well as travel away from home on occasion to meet operational needs.
