Serving as the public face and dedicated voice of UNICEF in Ireland, the organisation works to raise funds from individuals, corporates, major donors, philanthropists and foundations in Ireland, as well as to engage with the Irish government to promote children’s rights and secure national visibility for children.

About the Role

The new Director will become part of the Executive Management Team responsible for meeting and exceeding growth targets set out in the Strategic Plan - including working with external and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling public fundraising campaigns and brand development for UNICEF in Ireland. The Director will be expected to support and deliver on the wider strategic goals of the organisation, show dynamic energetic leadership and to sustain excellent relationships across the organisation.

UNICEF is seeking an exceptional candidate with the ambition to build upon recent exponential growth and who has proven experience of public fundraising at a high level. The candidate will demonstrate a desire to grow the UNICEF brand as the premier international humanitarian aid agency in the country. The successful candidate will be proactive, confident, organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively while leading a best in market fundraising team..
